If you are going by train, you have to know that you can have a discount. Firstly you can found some friends and bought group ticket. It will be chiper for each of you. For example - round trip ticket to Venice will cost 135 euro for one person, but if will buy ticket for 5 person (max. 5), you will pay 85 euro for each of you. (This prices was in 2003.)
